Hello, I’m Martyn. I’m a qualified therapist specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), working exclusively online with clients across the UK.
I work with adults who want practical, evidence-based support for:

My Approach
Therapy is most effective when it’s tailored to you. I combine structured, evidence-based approaches with a compassionate, collaborative style.
CBT: Helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours interact, and develop strategies for change.
IPT: Focuses on how relationships and life events affect your mood, helping you improve communication, navigate transitions, and manage grief or loss.
Sessions take place online, giving you the flexibility to access therapy wherever you are in the UK.
Why I Do This Work
I’ve always been fascinated by how thoughts, behaviours and relationships influence wellbeing. Through CBT and IPT, I’ve seen how small changes in thinking or communication can make a big difference to people’s lives.
I also understand personally what it’s like to struggle with confidence and self-esteem, and how helpful therapy can be. This experience shapes my approach: practical, empathetic, and focused on helping you feel more in control and understood.

Types of Therapy Offered
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a practical, structured therapy that helps you notice and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. It’s particularly effective for anxiety disorders such as PTSD, OCD, Health and Social Anxiety, low mood, and stress.
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
IPT focuses on your relationships, communication, and life changes. It’s especially helpful if you’re experiencing depression, grief, or difficulties in connecting with others.
